AirlumeParties and scope
These terms govern bookings made with Airlume, trading from 52 Bradford Street, Digbeth, Birmingham B5 6DR, and the customer requesting air conditioning installation, cleaning, repair or maintenance services. They apply to domestic and commercial customers unless separate account terms have been agreed in writing.
Booking and quotes
Quotes are given by phone, by message or following a site visit, depending on the complexity of the job. A quote remains valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise, and the final price may change if the scope of work changes once we're on site, which will always be discussed with you before extra work proceeds.
Performance of the work and access to the premises
The customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the property, including clear access to the indoor and outdoor unit locations, during the agreed visit window. Work will be carried out in line with manufacturer guidance and standard trade practice, and any pre-existing issues found on site, such as unsuitable wiring or structural concerns, will be flagged before proceeding.
Prices, payment after completion and invoices
Payment is due on completion of the work, by cash or bank transfer, unless the customer is on agreed business account terms. An invoice is issued showing labour and parts, and this invoice forms the record of work carried out for warranty purposes.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Bookings can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge with more than 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled visit, or repeated rescheduling, may incur a reasonable charge to cover time already allocated to the job.
Liability, insurance and complaints
Airlume carries public liability insurance and takes reasonable care to protect the property during all work. If a customer believes work was not carried out to a reasonable standard, they should contact us within 30 days so we can inspect and resolve the issue, which may include a return visit at no extra labour charge.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
